How are we able to give a larger cut to talents more than other merch businesses? Raechit Merch is run by a business woman with a passion for providing better opportunities to those she respects in the industry. Raechit Merch hand selects each talent that is listed on the website, so the business only works with people the owner personally believes in. This motivation gives a special drive in the owner to work longer and more thoroughly than other companies might. Due to Raechit Merch being a small business, we are able to take more time carefully crafting each launch with the creator. From making sure the designs resonate with the community, to quick customer service, Raechit Merch onboards one talent/drop at a time to ensure the team isn’t spread too thin.

Other commitments? While the primary goal of the business is to bring high quality merchandise to communities and support the talent behind the merch as much as possible, we have some other goals that we strive to achieve. Firstly, we know merch can often produce a lot of waste. Endless boxes, bubble wrap, and other packaging materials are used non-stop. To help reduce waste, we reuse many of our packaging materials. One of our imports came wrapped up in bubble wrap? We’ll use that to help secure future orders. Cardboard boxes from imports, or even personal purchases? That box will either be cut into a new box, become hard backing to keep prints from getting bent during shipping, or the full box repurposed to ship out a future order (don’t be shocked if your anime girl merch arrives in a box labeled for something entirely unrelated). This also helps saves on some of the packaging costs, which means more can be sent to the talents! Our second goal is to spread more education about merch and the process of it. Whether that be through panels at conventions, online seminars, or easily accessible YouTube content, Raechit wants all creators to know more about the merch business so that they can make more well informed decisions. The third and final goal that Raechit Merch holds is keeping the merch as affordable as possible. Prices on both items and shipping can be ridiculous, so we are intentional with exactly how everything is priced to make it fair for everyone. While some things can't be helped, (a large 5 pound box will always be expensive to ship no matter what we do), we don't cut corners and maximize the "bang for your buck" in the communities we work with.
